Haley Burbine

Biography

Haley Burbine is a 2021 graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design University located in Toronto, ON. She completed her major in Printmaking and is now located in London, ON.

Haley is an interdisciplinary artists who primarily works in printmaking, photography and painting. Her art practice is based around memories, heritage, lived experiences and discovering similarities and repetitive experiences between herself and other individuals.

Her most recent works were inspired by the photographs that fill her home and hold these distant memories. By being surrounded by these images everyday, she has thought about how we are all a collection of moments and happenings of our lives. These photographs have the capability of capturing important moments but they also alter our memories. Haley's work explores how family photographs can influence, change, and create a person's memory and how that can affect who we are today.
