Rescued
Rescued is a series of prints that talks about the real life experiences of rescued dogs. By using different printmaking techniques, this series explores three separate stories of three different dogs that have come through my home in the last five years. In 2015 my family started foster dogs through a local rescue group in London, Ontario. During this time we have had over 30 dogs come through our home and we have helped them find their new family. Each dog had a unique story and past, and not every story was kind.
This series is an ongoing exploration on how to get their stories out into the world.
